Support for Charlotte Teens and the Parents Who Love Them

The teenage years are hard enough without the added weight of anxiety, depression, identity questions, and social pressure. If your teen is struggling and you’re not sure how to help, Kind Mind Psychology offers virtual teen therapy for adolescents ages 12 and up throughout Charlotte and North Carolina.

We treat anxiety, depression, ADHDtrauma, identity development (including gender and sexual identity), family conflict, school stress, self-esteem challenges, self-harm, and life transitions. Our clinicians use CBTDBT, and IFS adapted for teens.

We are a culturally affirming practice that serves teens of all backgrounds. For LGBTQ+ teens in Charlotte, which has a growing but still underserved affirming therapy landscape, we provide a space where identity is honored and supported. For BIPOC teens navigating racial stress, we bring that understanding into every session.

All sessions are virtual. We accept Aetna, Cigna, and Blue Cross Blue Shield for NC clients. Sliding scale from $25. Visit our Insurance & Fees page.
