About Me

Hello! My name is Wenzhen. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine human connection, not a clinical transaction. My approach is collaborative, empathetic, and rooted in meeting you exactly where you are. I don’t come in with a script or a checklist. I come in with curiosity, warmth, and a commitment to understanding your story through a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed lens.

Therapy can be a challenging journey. It asks you to look at things honestly, sit with discomfort, and try new ways of being. My role is to make that process feel safe and worthwhile, to help you build deeper understanding of yourself, and to support you in developing the strength and confidence to move through life’s difficulties with more clarity and less suffering.

Who I Work With

I work with individuals across diverse races, genders, and abilities who are navigating anxiety, stress, depressionADHDtrauma, personality disorders, problematic eating, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. Whether you’re dealing with a major change, a pattern you can’t seem to break, or a feeling you can’t quite name, I’m here to help you make sense of it and figure out what comes next.

My Approach

I use a range of evidence-based modalities and tailor my approach to what fits you best. My training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)EMDR, Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Somatic Interventions. I also draw from humanistic principles, which means I believe deeply in your capacity for growth and self-actualization. My job isn’t to tell you who to be. It’s to help you get there.

I truly believe in each person’s capacity to build the life they want, and I’d love to support you in that work.
