About Me
Hello! My name is Georgia and I am a therapist with a background in history, sociology, and psychology. As a Black woman, I value a liberation perspective to therapy, approaching individuals with curiosity and collaboration in order to not only self-reflect but to examine the systems we all operate within. I utilize an eclectic modality, pulling from DBT, relational-cultural, and narrative practices.
Throughout my clinical training, I have had extensive experience working with athletes and performers looking to enhance their practice and utilize mental skills for ideal performance. I also have experience working with LGBTQ and BIPOC youth and adolescents who struggled with anxiety, depression, substance use, suicidal ideation, self-injurious behaviors, and Borderline Personality symptoms.
I am looking forward to working alongside you in your mental health journey.
